Our History:

Sixteen years is less than a fifth of an average human lifetime, but in the  world of technology, it’s an eternity. Companies, trends, and technologies have come and gone as the communications landscape has repeatedly evolved, creating a new data-driven world that seemed unimaginable in 1994.

Through it all, 123Net has been there. From the beginning, we offered leading-edge technological solutions, unparalleled expertise, and unmatched service to our clients—and it’s what we still do today.

Fiber Network—Our three metro SONET rings and long-haul optical fiber networks span 750 route miles and 50 nodes throughout Michigan. We’ve got the infrastructure to transport DS1, DS3, OC-n and Ethernet circuits throughout the state at half the cost of most other carriers. Our meshed network utilizes SONET technology, protecting your data in optical ring configurations with 50ms failover times in the event of a fiber cut.
IP Backbone— We operate a 40Gbps+ IP network connected to multiple global transit carriers, including Level 3, Savvis, Cogent, Global Crossing and others. Multiple uplinks allow us to provide stable connectivity throughout the network.
Data Centers—We own and operate four hardened, state-of-the-art data center facilities, enabling clients to store server equipment and critical applications with the utmost security—and at very affordable rates. Both sites offer redundant power (generator/UPS/battery) backup with controlled 24×7 access and dual fiber entrances.
